The New Orleans Mission partners directly with local courts, probation officers, and parole agencies to provide individuals with a structured, life-changing alternative to incarceration. Our program is designed to support men who are seeking a second chance—whether they are court-referred, on probation or parole, or working to avoid returning to jail.

Individuals may enter our program as a condition of probation or parole, or through a court-approved placement in lieu of incarceration. From the moment they arrive, participants are placed in a stable, highly structured environment that emphasizes accountability, consistency, and personal responsibility.
We work closely with supervising officers and court representatives to ensure each individual remains compliant with all legal requirements while actively progressing through the program. Our team provides ongoing support, supervision, and when required, communication and updates regarding participation, behavior, and progress.
Participants in our re-entry program receive comprehensive support designed to address the root causes that often lead to repeated incarceration. This includes:
- Safe, stable housing in a structured environment
- Recovery support for addiction and life-controlling issues
- Biblical teaching, mentorship, and spiritual guidance
- Life skills development, including discipline, responsibility, and decision-making
- Case management and accountability to help meet court-ordered obligations
- Guidance in transitioning toward employment and independent living
We not only help individuals meet the requirements set before them, we equip them for long-term success. By combining accountability with compassion, we help participants break destructive cycles, avoid re-incarceration, and build a new foundation for their future.
Through this partnership with the justice system, the New Orleans Mission serves as a bridge between incarceration and restoration—giving individuals the opportunity to change direction, restore their lives, and successfully reintegrate into society.
Our goal is to break the cycle of repeat incarceration by addressing the root causes of addiction, instability, and life-controlling issues.
