Due to 22,850 food insecure residents in St. Tammany Parish and a solid relationship with Second Harvest, The New Orleans Mission was selected to host a food pantry at the Giving Hope Retreat that launched February 5, 2019. Through this awesome partnership with Second Harvest, the Mission Pantry has served 4000 food insecure families in St. Tammany Parish and exceeded goals by generating 1,000,000 pounds of donated food with food retailers on the Northshore its first-year. To maintain enough food to distribute weekly to 600 families, we stop distributing food boxes daily after 100 families are served.
Note: We only serve residents of St. Tammany Parish. Please bring a state ID with you any time you're on campus.
